WAYS TO SENTENCE A MORE MILD PUNISHMENT

Abstract

This article examines in detail all methods of imposing a more lenient sentence. It also touches on the individualization of punishment. It examines the problematic aspects of each method of imposing a more lenient sentence, the circumstances under which each method is used, and the circumstances under which a particular method cannot be applied. Examples from the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan are also provided. The article analyzes the sanctions contained in the articles. The authors' opinions on specific issues are also considered. The article provides an explanation of the ruling of the Plenum of the Supreme Court on a specific issue.
