THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CORRUPTION IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This article provides a detailed account of the negative effects of corruption in the recruitment process in the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, the harmful impact of corruption on the labor market, the principles of social justice, and economic development has been thoroughly analyzed. When corruption is committed during the recruitment process, the recruitment of unqualified employees occurs. This leads to a decrease in labor productivity and negatively impacts the activities of state organizations. As a result, the level of injustice and discontent in society increases. Corruption causes abuse of trust between the state and the people and undermines the reputation of state organizations. The necessary conditions in the Republic of Uzbekistan are being created for establishing effective public control in public administration by ensuring openness, transparency, and accountability of officials to the population in the activities of state bodies and organizations. This article proposes measures to strengthen legislation to prevent corruption, ensure openness and transparency, and strengthen control through the use of information technologies. As a result of these measures, it will be possible to reduce corruption in the recruitment process in Uzbekistan and make the system more equitable. The article also examines the work carried out in the republic in the field of combating corruption, the state policy in this area, as well as the legislation of our country and international legislation in the field of combating corruption.
