Based on a comprehensive analysis of archival criminal case materials, questionnaire results from investigators and operational officers of internal affairs bodies, as well as content analysis of regulatory legal acts, a model for organizational interaction in investigating crimes on transboundary transport routes has been proposed. A matrix for selecting the optimal interaction channel has been developed, taking into account the type of requested information and the urgency of its receipt. Specific ways and mechanisms for solving identified problems of transboundary interaction and coordination of the activities of law enforcement agencies have been formulated.
